– TAX ADVISERS

Client portal for tax advisers

An adviser's biggest asset is their earlier positions, and they lie buried in email.

The same questions get answered from scratch, because nobody reaches for what cannot be found. Here that knowledge starts working: every case and every position has its place and comes back when it is needed.

What eats time today

  • Before every deadline somebody rings the clients and writes down on paper what is missing.
  • Rulings and letters to the authorities sit in email, so the next case starts the search again.
  • The client asks whether they will make it, and answering means checking in three places.

What we build

Order first, AI later. This is a rollout done in stages, not a list of features to buy at once.

  • Earlier positions resurface on a new case instead of getting lost in an inbox
  • Every case has its place together with the correspondence from the authorities
  • The client knows what to deliver and by when, without chasing
  • Tax deadlines are visible per client, not in one shared calendar
  • A delivery record remains, so a dispute leaves nothing to argue about

Where AI comes in

AI suggests a direction based on what the firm has already established, and the decision stays with the adviser.

Correspondence copilot

Recognises the type of letter from the authorities, extracts the reply deadline and the amount, attaches it to the right case.

What it never does on its own

Never replies to the authorities and never sends a letter. The adviser signs and sends.

Missing items and deadline guard

Shows which client is missing what, and how many days remain before the deadline.

What it never does on its own

Does not send reminders without approval and never declares anything on the client's behalf.

Filing peak forecast

Shows how many clients will pile up around the nearest deadlines.

What it never does on its own

Does not assign work. It shows the pile-up, the decision stays with the adviser.

What this replaces

  • ringing round clients before a deadline
  • a missing items list kept in a spreadsheet or on paper
  • hunting for an old ruling in an inbox
  • a tax calendar shared across all clients

Result

The client gets an answer sooner and no deadline slips. Earlier positions come back when they are needed, so the same questions no longer start from scratch.

What the company gains

  • The firm's knowledge stops leaving with the person who built it
  • A junior adviser answers a routine question alone, without queueing for the most senior one
  • Filing season stops meaning a month of overtime for the whole team
  • In a dispute with the authorities the documentation defends itself, with nothing to reconstruct
